On the morning of October 25, the College of Transport Engineering held a forum for representatives of the Alumni Association of Chang'an University in the fifth conference room of the academic exchange center of the south campus. A total of 21 outstanding alumni from 8 provinces were invited to attend the meeting. The forum was presided over by Tian Xinmin, Secretary of the college's Party committee. The leading group of the college, professors of professional responsibility from six departments and four departments and teachers' representatives attended the meeting.

Secretary Tian Xinmin, on behalf of all the teachers and students of the College of Transport Engineering, first extended a warm welcome to the alumni, and then introduced the members of the college's leading group and Professor Chen kuanmin, the most senior teacher of the college.

Afterwards, the alumni introduced themselves in turn. The author shared the information from the following aspects: name, grade, major, unit, work experience, alumni association construction in the region. He also expressed his hope to share resources with the College of Transport Engineering and promote cooperation in research. At the same time, teachers and students of the college are also welcome to visit and exchange with each other in the base areas.

President yuan Changwei introduced the establishment process of the new college to the alumni attending the meeting. From the aspects of the emergence of the times, the development status and the sailing of the new college, the development history of the college, the background and mission, the discipline layout and ranking, the specialty of the college, the popularity of the application, the responsibilities of the four departments and six teaching institutions, the scientific research platform, the faculty, the talent team construction, and the scale of students and the index of running a college are introduced in detail. It also promises that the College of Transport Engineering will eventually become an international and innovative college with world-class and Chinese characteristics.

After listening to the construction and development of the college, the alumni actively exchanged views, and the atmosphere was warm.

Ye Fangcai, vice president of Zhejiang branch of Chang 'an University, first of all, expressed his gratitude to the College of Transport Engineering for its great attention to the celebration activities and alumni affairs. He said that traffic is the key to communication between roads, bridges and tunnels, and hoped to continue to give strong support to Ningbo's traffic planning. At the same time, the college is invited to connect with the big data direction of the company to seek scientific research cooperation. Alumni from all over the world are welcome to visit Ningbo.

Ou Xiaohai, President of Guizhou branch and deputy inspector of Guizhou Provincial Transportation Department, said that the school has changed greatly in recent decades. He also talked about his deep relationship with the College of Transport Engineering. In the early stage, he cooperated with Professor Hu Dawei in station planning, and cooperated with Professor Fu Xin in mountain operation safety research project, which greatly promoted the construction of hardware infrastructure in Guizhou Province. At the same time, it provides four ideas and suggestions for the future cooperation and transportation research direction: firstly, it can be linked with the needs of the era of transportation power, comprehensively carry out traffic research, in-depth details, and not only focus on the overall planning; secondly, the rural highway construction, the current level of village access is low, the passenger network and operation level need to be improved, The applicability of ride-hailing remains to be determined, and the rural highway traffic planning and transportation organization how to develop; the third is driver safety, which can focus on the psychological quality and driving behavior of drivers and passengers; the fourth is the application of Beidou vehicles, which can increase the depth and breadth of research, not only GPS tracking. Finally, Ou alumni said that the College of Transport Engineering has the youngest faculty and will strengthen cooperation in the future.

Sun Mingshan, vice president of Hebei Branch of Chang 'an University, first talked about his biggest feeling of attending the meeting is exciting. He said that the specialty and scientific research direction of the College of Transport Engineering is cutting-edge, comprehensive, practical and has great potential. It is suggested that we should give full play to the role of alumni as a bridge, and promote the combination of teaching research and industry university research in terms of work, teaching and scientific research resources. At the same time, through the cooperation of alumni, we will jointly apply for major projects and projects to improve the popularity of the school and college. Comprehensively capture social and international resources, sort out research priorities, and cooperate with enterprises to form a technology industry consortium. Li Quan, Secretary General of Qinghai Branch of Chang 'an University, expressed his strong desire to cooperate with the College of Transport Engineering. He said that at this stage, the preliminary study of Qinghai local high-speed PPP project is under way, and it is expected to build the most beautiful tourist highway, hoping to reach cooperation intention. In terms of big data, the emergency command center of Qinghai Transportation Department will carry out the provincial highway informatization construction (road, weather, Beidou, 5G, etc.), hoping to cooperate and start the project.

Alumni Chen Shengke, executive vice president of Shanghai Branch of growing up, first of all, thanks the college for its attention to alumni activities. He also pointed out that Zhejiang is a big economic province, but its transportation research strength is still relatively weak, which needs the support of universities and the introduction of think tanks. I hope that alumni and grown-up teachers and students will visit Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou in Zhejiang. At the same time, it said that it would build bridges between Hangzhou Research Institute, Zhejiang traffic investment and Ningbo traffic investment and Chang'an University and the College of Transport Engineering to promote exchanges and cooperation. The development of the college is promising. We can sort out the faculty and strengthen the relationship between industry, university and research.

Suo Jianguo, vice president of Shanghai branch and head of law branch, thanks for the intimate reception of the college. As a director of the Qinshang Association, he suggested that Chang'an University should join the Qinshang Association, contact Shaanxi members around the world, and promote enterprise cooperation. At the same time, Suo alumni promised to strengthen the contact between Xi'an Branch, Shanghai Alumni Association and other associations and colleges in the future to seek cooperation opportunities. In the direction of scientific research, it is suggested to follow up information collection, storage security and other issues.

On behalf of Pengkai alumni, Wang Jinji, secretary general of Shanghai Branch, would like to thank the school for its kind arrangement. At the same time, several suggestions are put forward: firstly, the focus of transportation has shifted from construction to operation, which needs to be strengthened in-depth research; secondly, cross-border and auxiliary line non related industry development can be sought, such as smart pole; thirdly, cooperation with the research institute should be strengthened, combined with the advantages of the college, and attention should be paid to cross industry requirements, such as emergency and safety, and quality research.

Zheng Caiping (female), an alumni from Hainan Branch, expressed her sincere thanks to the school and college for the arrangement and expressed her deep impression on the visit. She suggested that the school and the college should participate in Hainan's smart transportation, driverless public transportation, smart pole construction, and tourism highway, and cooperate to complete the landing project.

Wang Xing, the representative of Chengda Guizhou Branch, said that the college has a strong resource advantage. While doing scientific research, it can focus on output and application and seek better development in cooperation with enterprises. At the same time, he hopes to help Guizhou province with the advantages of the college, especially in soft science. For the most beautiful highway in Guizhou Province, the current hardware facilities are perfect, but the environment and other software construction are still needed. Li Sheng, the representative of Chang 'an University Hainan Branch, fully affirmed the huge development prospect of the School, and would timely feed back the problems encountered in working in Hainan to his Alma mater in the future, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and build a bridge of communication and cooperation between local scientific research institutions and Chang 'an University.

Zeng Ming, secretary-general of Hainan Branch of Chang 'an University, mentioned to give full play to the resources and advantages of alumni of various majors. He suggested that during the teaching process, teachers should connect with scientific research institutes, make clear the direction of required skills, and train students in a targeted way.

Xu Zhongchen, a representative of The Heilongjiang Branch of Chang 'an University, introduced the alumni association of Chang 'an University and suggested that alumni from all over the country visit Heilongjiang frequently to encourage them to go to Heilongjiang for further development.

Wang Yimin, President of Zhejiang Branch of Chang 'an University, affirmed that The Collge of Transportation Engineering is a new school, which combines the old strong major and the new big data major and has strong strength. He said that the cooperation with the teachers and students of the college has a deep origin. At present, Zhejiang province import grow up 200 to 300 alumni every year, the team is expanding. At the same time, it promises to increase the communication and cooperation between the newly established Zhejiang Transportation Big data Center company, the research institute affiliated to Zhejiang Transportation Vocational and Technical College and the consulting company and the college, hoping to reach the intended partner.

Finally, Secretary Tian Xinmin fully summarized the outstanding alumni symposium. First, April 18, 2021 is the 70th anniversary of Chang 'an University and the first anniversary of the establishment of The School of Transport Engineering. I hope the alumni can give full play to their advantages and strengthen cooperation. Second, the School of Transportation Engineering is a new school, and I promise all alumni that we will work hard to build and develop the college. Third, the college covers all aspects of transportation research, focusing on transportation and social services. It has strong strength and broad prospects. In the future, we will strengthen research in the direction of traffic operation and maintenance. Fourth, the college will try its best to absorb the suggestions made by all alumni. Fifth, on this occasion, thanks to all the alumni at home and abroad, we propose to establish alumni branch of the School of Transportation Engineering in various provinces and cities; plan the visit in November and agree on specific plans for going out and inviting in; establish seven alumni pools for the 10th anniversary, 20th anniversary and so on. Welcome to alma mater next April; at the same time, according to the 70th anniversary school plan, alumni donation and claim activities will be carried out to promote the school campus road network planning and road culture park construction. In the future, we will persevere and hope that all alumni will promote, care, and support the construction and development of the new college, and build a bridge between enterprises, industry and School of Transportation Engineering.
