On the evening of 5 March, the College successfully held an information session on Sino-foreign joint education programmes. The event was designed to give students a thorough, in-depth understanding of the University’s international exchanges and joint-training opportunities, broaden their horizons, and add more options to their future study and career paths. Professor Ge Ying’en, Dean of the College, attended the session.
During the presentation, Ms. Liu Wanying, the College’s International Affairs Secretary, outlined the University’s partnerships with more than 190 universities and research institutions in over 30 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Japan. She focused on several programmes—“1+1+1” double master’s degrees, “3+1+1” bachelor-to-master pathways, semester or academic-year exchanges, and short winter/summer study tours—explaining their admission requirements, financial-support policies and credit-transfer procedures. She also introduced national scholarship schemes such as the Innovative Talent International Cooperation Programme, the Russia–Ukraine–Belarus Initiative, and the Rural Revitalisation Programme.
Dean Ge Ying’en stressed that international exposure and a global perspective are essential for today’s university students and that the College attaches great importance to outward-looking exchanges. Drawing on his own experience, he urged students to seize the moment and face the future boldly. He warmly encouraged them to apply for joint-degree or overseas study programmes to strengthen cross-cultural communication skills, build core competitiveness and cultivate the capacity to contribute to Chinese-style modernisation. He called on everyone to challenge themselves, make full use of the University’s high-quality resources and lay a solid foundation for future development.

The event received an enthusiastic response. After the session, many students stayed to discuss application procedures, language requirements and funding policies with the speakers. With the University’s support, the College will continue to provide more high-quality overseas study and internship opportunities, helping to train transport-sector talent with a global vision for building a strong transportation nation.
