Dean Ge Ying’en and his delegation went to Shanghai to continue promoting university-enterprise cooperation

September is the most wonderful season in Shanghai. The sky is refreshing, and the fragrance of Dan Gui is fluttering. The two-day First Science and Technology Conference of Shanghai Urban Construction and Urban Operation (Group) Co., Ltd. and the Technical Exchange Forum on Digital Driven High-Quality Development of Urban Transport Infrastructure were successfully held, in which Professor Ge Yingen, Dean of the College of Transportation Engineering, Professor Wang Jianjun, Vice Dean of the College, Professor Wang Yonggang, Director of the Department of Urban Rail Transit and Navigation Engineering, and Professor Zhao Jianyou of the School of Automobile were invited to participate.

At 9:00 a.m. on 9 September, accompanied by the majestic music, the Science and Technology Conference kicked off. Zhu Hehua, academician of the Chinese Acade Committee and chairman of the Group, attended the conference together. In the strategic signing session, President Ge Yingen and Mr Jin En, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shanghai Urban Construction City Operation (Group) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement; under the agreement, our institute will cooperate with the City Operation Group extensively in platform construction and talent training, science and technology research and development and scientific research and innovation, transformation of achievements and resource sharing, so as to realize win-win cooperation between the two sides.

In the afternoon of September 9, at the Technical Exchange Forum of Digital Driven High-Quality Development of Urban Transportation Infrastructure, Prof. Ge Yingen, Dean of the College of Transportation Engineering, was invited to give a keynote speech on Environmental Problems in Urban Transportation Infrastructure Management and Digital Governance; he systematically analyzed the environmental problems in the management of urban transportation infrastructure in the report, and focused on the following issues In his report, he systematically analyzed the environmental problems in the management of urban transport infrastructure, focusing on the difficulties in environmental supervision and digital management in relatively closed space tunnels, which pointed out the direction and ideas for improving the tunnel environment.



On the morning of 10 September, experts and scholars from the conference visited the Urban Operation Digital Management Centre and the project department of the Northern Transverse Corridor. The center leads the city-level intelligent operation and management platform, covering all types of facilities such as roads, bridges, tunnels, etc., including six modules of operation-maintenance-evaluation-inspection-supervision-decision-making, focusing on the four core businesses of rapid response to emergencies, emergency linkage in bad weather, digital supervision of daily operations, and evaluation of structural safety of facilities, so as to achieve comprehensive situational awareness, intelligent prediction of trends, integrated scheduling of resources, and coordination of machines for transport infrastructures. On the morning of 11 September, Dean Ge Yingen and his delegation inspected the innovative platform of science and technology for key technologies of intelligent systems in Lingang New Area, and had in-depth exchanges with the relevant persons in charge of Shanghai Chengdian Fuzhi Technology Co., Ltd. and China Shipbuilding Jereh Science and Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and reached a series of consensus on the cooperation in many aspects such as talent cultivation, scientific research and innovation, transformation of achievements and cooperation between the industry, universities and research institutes, etc., and signed a strategic cooperation agreement.




Through this research and exchange in Shanghai, it opens a new chapter of school-enterprise co-operation between our college and Shanghai Urban Construction City Operation (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Chengdian Fuzhi Technology Co., Ltd. and the two sides will be in close contact with each other next, and carry out all-around and multi-level industry-academia-research co-operation at a deep level.
