The faculty of Institute of Transportation Planning and Design include 2 professors, 3 associate professors and 7 lecturers. 91.6% of the teachers have overseas study or visiting experience. In recent years, the research projects involve the National Key R&D Program of China, National natural science foundation projects and more than 40 other provincial research projects. More than 130 papers and 15 works were published. The studies involve decision-making for scientific development, travel behavior characteristic, traffic impact performance (including the transportation economy, traffic safety, traffic efficiency, ecology and environment, social and cultural fairness). And the team is committed to achieve intelligent and modern management integration of transportation planning and design. The team has carried out a number of visiting and cooperation projects with famous Universities all over the world, such as, the University of Melbourne in Australia, Purdue University in the United States and Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.
