二、报告内容

报告主题:Data Science Behind Smart Transportation: from theory to the real world

 报告摘要:Data science is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses multiple domains, including statistics, computer science, mathematics, and domain knowledge, to extract meaningful information and knowledge from data. It also plays a critical role in the development and implementation of intelligent transportation systems. By leveraging data from various sources, data scientists can develop models and algorithms that optimize transportation systems and improve travel as well. However, there are gaps between textbooks and the real world. I hope my lecture can bridge the gap to some extent. In my more than ten years of experience in both academia and industry, I have personally witnessed the practical applications of data science and its importance in various fields. In this lecture, I will draw on my personal experience to discuss the application of data science in intelligent transportation. I hope the lecture can provide some insights for students who are interested in data science and the cross domain research and application bridging theory and practices.

三、主讲人简介

马江山,携程集团算法总监,2007&2009年本科和硕士毕业于东南大学,2012于日本东京工业大学获博士学位。主要研究向为交通地理信息系统、路径规划模型和算法、多智能体交通仿真、交通数据挖掘等。2014年获本国土交通部优秀先进技术开发奖,2021年获中国交通协会科技进步奖一等奖。在学术研究上有多篇论文发表于 Transportation Research Part CIEEE Transactions on ITSTransportation Research Record Transportmetrica A:Transport ScienceProcedia Computer Science,以及ISTTT21 (oral presntation)TRBEASTSHKSTSINSTRCICTP等国际会议,参与撰写了多智能体交通仿真开源项目 MATSim Agent-based Simulation Tool 一书部分章节。
